COVID-19 Update

Hello! We just wanted to provide a quick update on how Garnock Connections is being impacted by COVID-19.

Our staff are all currently working at home, so team meetings have been replaced with Skype calls and lunchtime chats with cat playtime. However, we will still be doing everything we can to support our project partners, provide updates and activities for our audience, and compile a programme of events to roll out once everything is back to normal. Our office may be closed, but our phones, emails and social media channels are open as usual.

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel all upcoming events, including next month’s litter pick and bioblitz at Ardrossan Castle. At present, we’re not certain how long we’ll be in this position, but we will be putting the safety of our staff, partners and everyone involved with the project before anything else.

One of the benefits of this role is that we’ve seen first-hand just how strong and kind the communities of the Garnock Connections area are. With this spirit, we have no doubt that we will get through this current crisis.
