Have you seen a Garnock Rock?
Our Garnock Rocks have escaped into the wild. If you find one of our rocks let us know where they've got to using #GarnockRocks on social media. Then why not relocate the rock and share the new location on the Places That We Know App?

Two new job opportunities

Looking for a new challenge in the new year? We may have just the opportunity for you, as we are currently hiring for two roles within the Garnock Connections team.

First of all, we're looking for a Digital Skills Assistant to help us navigate the increasingly virtual world we find ourselves in. If you're good with computers, social media, and enthusing people about cultural and natural heritage, this could be the role for you.

Moreover, we will also be hiring a new Oral Histories Assistant to engage with communities and record stories from the landscape's industrial past. This is a pseudo-sequel to our Working Voices project.

Both roles will benefit from extensive training and skills development, helping you forge a path into the world of heritage and community engagement.
