Connecting people and places within the Landscape

New Job Opportunity

The days are getting longer, spring is just around the corner, and Garnock Connections are looking for a new Wildlife Recording Assistant. If you have a passion for the natural world, especially with regards to community engagement, this could be the job for you.

The Go Wild in Garnock project is all about inspiring people to discover the wonderful wildlife on their doorstep, and the successful candidate will facilitate this through a programme of wildlife identification training events. Initially based at home, these events will be run digitally, but we're hoping to get back out in the field later in the year. Furthermore, the successful candidate will work with local schools and community groups, giving people the knowledge and opportunities to further develop their skills and interests.

This nine-month role will benefit from extensive training and skills development, helping you forge a path into the world of natural heritage and community engagement.
