Borrow our Wildlife Recording Equipment!

Are you interested in wildlife recording, but not sure where to begin? Or perhaps you already know of a type of wildlife recording you'd like to get involved with, but don't have the equipment you need to get started?

From 10th May, you can borrow from Go Wild in Garnock's extensive library of equipment, from binoculars to bug pooters, bat detectors to butterfly nets - all for free.

We'll provide instructions for how to use the equipment as well as ideas for survey activities you can try, alongside the equipment itself. Most of the equipment is very easy to use, even if you've never done any wildlife recording before. We also have some more specialist equipment, if you have lots of experience already but are missing the kit to get surveying.

Interested? Contact Eglinton Country Park Countryside Rangers for more information and to book your equipment!
