Working Voices

Here in Ayrshire we know we’ve a strong and fascinating maritime heritage from shipbuilding through to folk travelling ‘doon the watter’.

But we don’t have a real shared story of personal and community memories of living and working around maritime industries in the area.

So, we’re looking for folk to share a little time and a lot of stories for our new Working Voices oral history project.

We're already beginning to hear some amazing stories about our maritime heritage like the two below

I

If you have your own memories of the maritime industries, we'd love to hear from you.

Did you know?
